Ryan Quinn Inquest 14 April 2011

The inquest of Ryan Desmond Quinn took place on 14^th April 2011 at Coleraine Courthouse.

McCartan Turkington Breen Solicitors represented Ryan’s mother Lisa Kinnaird.  It was determined that the cause of death was multiple injuries and it is clear that there was a criminal assault prior to Ryan’s death.  Outside court, solicitor for the family Ernie Waterworth said: “The family have no doubt Ryan was assaulted prior to being on the track and therefore was escaping.”  He went on to say that he concurred with the Coroner’s comments that someone must have information and as a result of the Inquest today it may provoke someone’s conscience and we would appeal that they come forward to the appropriate agencies.
