MTB announce association with British Transplant Games 2011

McCartan Turkington Breen is proud to announce our association with the 2011 Westfield Health British Transplant games being held in Belfast from 04 – 07 August.
The Transplant Games have been in existence for over 30 years and this is only the second time they have been held in Belfast, the first time being in 1998.
The aim of the Games is to preserve and to protect the physical and mental health and rehabilitation of persons who have undergone transplant surgery by the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for such persons.
Events in a number of core sports such as Track and Field, Tennis, Table Tennis, Badminton, Swimming, Squash, Cycling, Volleyball, Golf, Lawn Bowls and Ten Pin Bowling will all take place at various venues in Belfast and Lisburn throughout the games.
There are also a number of social events taking place also including an opening parade from City Hall to the Waterfront Hall on Friday 4th August and a Gala Dinner on Sunday 7th August in the King’s Hall.
We are hoping the games are a great success for all involved and the event highlights the importance of Organ Donation and Transplantation and the difference this can make to so many lives.
